The band originally formed seven months ago but only last night did the final line up feel right with the inclusion of guitarist Dom, who has only played one other gig with the band.
Lead singer Finn Power, 16, claims that Dom is ‘The Mothership of Guitar’ and his place in the band was well earnt.
Musical influences vary from classic Beatles vibes to the Stone Roses and this is definitely reflected in their songs. The set list of original tracks showed off the bands collective music styles, separating them from the run-of-the-mill indie band.
A personal favourite of mine was “In the Summertime” which is filmed below…
The Boho’s weren’t afraid to state what they wanted out of a career in music, laid out in simple goals. These included world domination and a Death Star (standard!)
The band is playing next at The Zanzibar Club in Liverpool on March 5th, and they promise that this will be the gig to be at.
Finn said: “I’ve bigged up the Zanzibar gig the most. Everyone I speak to about my music, I say if you’re going to come to any gig come to the Zanzibar. It’s going to be boss!”
It’s set to be a big night for The Boho’s and get them one step closer to that dream of a Death Star!
Give the lads a follow on their social networks to keep up to date on more upcoming gigs and give their songs a listen on Soundcloud:
If you go along to any of their performances, let us know what you think!
